10. The Ring

The first movie I watched was number 10 on the list: The Ring. I had seen this film before when I was younger but as I watched it the second time, I noticed things that my untrained eyes didn't catch the first time. Basically, this movie is a remake of a very popular movie in Japan. It's about a video that is cursed. If you watch the video all the way through, you get a phone call. Then you die in seven days; pretty basic concept. The movie definitely wasn't that scary the second time, especially since I'm way older now, but I would still recommend it to any horror film newbies.
